Salomon X-Drive Skis

The Salomon X-Drive 8.0 Ti is a great option for a wide range of skiers. Salomon’s X-Chassis Construction has an X shape of woven Carbon/Polyamide that sits over the middle of the ski that strengthens the ski torsionally to deliver increased responsiveness.

The Wood Core with a Dual Titanium Laminate is easily controllable for the intermediate skier, while being stiff and strong enough for the advanced skier to be stable when they start to pick up some speed. A RKS (Rocker Stabilizer) smooths out the ride and increases the quickness and responsiveness by adding extra support on the contact points of the X-Drive 8.0 Ti that eliminate that flappy feeling that some rockered skis have.

Salomon’s Semi-Sandwich Construction has a Monocoque Cap Construction in the tips and tails that help the ski ride very easily, and a vertical sidewall underfoot that drives a strong edge into firm snow conditions.
